Word Curation

After Verso transcribes a video, it shows you the vocabulary it found. This step is where you decide which words to add to your study list.

  1. 1. What the curation screen shows

Each row shows one vocabulary word alongside its translation, definition, and the number of times it appears in the video. You can expand a row to see the sentences where that word was spoken and the timestamps.

  2. 2. Common words are pre-filtered

Verso automatically unchecks very common words — articles, prepositions, and high-frequency verbs you almost certainly already know. You can re-check any of them if you want to study them, or turn the filter off entirely in Settings.

  3. 3. Words you already know are excluded

If a word is already in your vocabulary list from a previous video, Verso marks it as existing and leaves it unchecked. This keeps your review queue focused on new material.

  4. 4. Check and uncheck words

Click any word row to toggle it. Use Select All or Deselect All to quickly change all checkboxes at once. Take your time — adding too many words at once can make reviews feel overwhelming.

  5. 5. Add to your list

Click Add to Listwhen you are happy with your selection. The checked words are added to your vocabulary list and will appear in tomorrow's review queue. The video is now in your library.
